Arden Heath Farm, Stratford-upon-Avon

The site is located on the eastern fringes of Stratford-upon-Avon town and south of the River Avon. It is situated between existing residential properties, which front Loxley Road and Knights Lane. The land is currently in agricultural use. The site is divided into two parcels of land.

The larger parcel lies to the south of Loxley Road. Its northern boundary fronts Loxley Road to the east of the driveway to Arden Heath Farm, while to the west of this driveway the site adjoins the rear gardens of properties on Loxley Road and Burford Road. To the east, the site adjoins Knights Lane and to the south it is bounded by farmland.

The smaller parcel of land is located to the north of Loxley Road and west of Knights Lane. To the north it is bounded by agricultural land and the Stratford-On-Avon Golf Club and to the west by residential properties on Loxley Road.

Due to its sustainable location Gallagher Estates have submitted a planning application for up to 270 new homes and two areas of public open space with a children’s play space, one on land to the north and the other on land to the south of Loxley Road.

This will make a valuable contribution to help the Council meet the housing need that has been identified over the plan period up to 2031.
