SUSTAINABILITY

We adhere to the implications of the World Summit on sustainability and development in the UK. We embrace the Local Agenda 21 and actively engage with local authorities and their local strategic partnerships in helping introduce compatible and durable, environmentally friendly schemes.

In particular we wish to emphasise the joint work we are undertaking with Cranfield University in this respect.

We work hard to achieve Eco Homes standards, recycling, composting, grey water recycling and renewal energy measures and have introduced a self imposed sustainability process in the formulation of our development proposals.

We give particular emphasis to ecological issues in relation to development proposals, including the preservation and enhancement of habitats and working with appropriate agencies and voluntary bodies to do so.
