EMERSONS GREEN, BRISTOL

Our vision is to provide an outstanding new development at the gateway to the West of England on the western section of the M4 corridor near Bristol. A new community comprising over 3,000 homes and two million square feet of employment space is proposed. Incorporating a new regional science park combined with school, sports and social facilities, together with a strategic network of water features and open space, this scheme will fit with the grain of the existing adjacent communities and both will be served by a new public transit corridor which integrates with wider measures being introduced to serve the north fringes of Bristol.

Gallagher and its partners are working with the local authority and the Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) to produce a comprehensive development brief and Master Plan having recently completed a community planning event.

A planning application will be submitted in mid 2004 and the scheme is expected to commence in 2006.
